A Little About ME

Hello! My name is Erika Shevrin and I am a recent graduate of the College of Charleston. I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where I found my love for all things art. I began my art career through painting but as I grew, so did my knowledge. In college, I explored the use of different medias such as charcoal, oil, acrylic, gauche paints as well as sculptural materials like wood, metal, clay, and foam.

My art expresses my own views of femininity through its experience of vibrant colors and form. Throughout each piece, my portrayal of today's societal messages are my way of producing a conversation between myself, the art, and the viewer.
